Hemos valorado dentro de las pacientes del grupo de estudio (ge) la respuesta endocrina en funci\u00f3n de la eficacia analg\u00e9sica expresada subjetivamente por las pacientes y valorada mediante la escala num\u00e9rica de 0 a 10, siendo 0 ning\u00fan dolor y 10 el dolor m\u00e1ximo que la paciente pueda soportar, diferenci\u00e1ndose dos grupos: grupo g1, pacientes con analgesia completa (n=26) y grupo g2, pacientes con analgesia incompleta (=19) que han referido dolor o molestias durante el parto o en el periodo expulsivo, con la pauta analg\u00e9sica epidural establecida.  los niveles de beta-endorfinas, acth, cortisol, tiroxina, tsh, prolactina e insulina disminuyen al pasar del periodo de dilataci\u00f3n (t1) al periodo expulsivo (t2) en las pacientes con analgesia epidural (grupo estudio-ge), aumentando en las pacientes que no han recibido analgesia (grupo control gc); obteni\u00e9ndose diferencias muy los niveles de beta-endorfinas y acth hallados en el periodo expulsivo. En las pacientes con eficacia analg\u00e9sica completa (g1) los niveles de beta-endorfinas, acth, cortisol, tiroxina e insulina disminuyen al pasar el periodo de dilataci\u00f3n (t1) al periodo expulsivo (t2), aumentando en cambio en las pacientes con menor eficacia analg\u00e9sica (grupo g2); obteni\u00e9ndose diferencias los valores de acth hallados en el periodo expulsivo (t2).  nuestros resultados sugieren que la respuesta endocrina (principalmente beta-endorfinas y acth) se modifica durante el parto con el uso de la analgesia epidural,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
