Desde el punto de vista sint\u00e9tico se han observado elevadas selectividades en las reacciones de adici\u00f3n conjugada de nucle\u00f3filos carbonados y en las posteriores reacciones con distintos electr\u00f3filos.  en la segunda parte se aborda el estudio de la transesterificaci\u00f3n de derivados de 2-(hidroximetil) piperidina catalizada por la enzima acilasa i de especies de aspergillus. los compuestos enantiom\u00e9ricamente puros obtenidos se han utilizado en la s\u00edntesis de alcaloides y amino \u00e1cidos no proteinog\u00e9nicos. tambi\u00e9n se han realizado algunos experimentos preliminares con el objetivo de obtener derivados de piridina y piperidina altamente funcionalizados.  la \u00faltima parte de la tesis hace referencia a la s\u00edntesis de sistemas polic\u00edclicos con anillos de piperidina a trav\u00e9s de reacciones de heck. Se han obtenido derivados de pirido(1,2-b)isoquinolina y de yohimbano y se ha estudiado su reactividad. adem\u00e1s, algunos de los compuestos preparados se ha usado para s\u00edntesis de
