El aumento de los niveles de la isoforma b del receptor de bacido retinoico y la inhibici\u00f3n de los niveles de c-myc est\u00e1n implicados en la diferenciaci\u00f3n inducida por ar de las c\u00e9lulas de neuroblastoma sh-sy5y. Otros factores como los esteres de forbol y el igf-1 modulan las respuestas al ar cooperando en la inducci\u00f3n del rarb2 y en la inhibici\u00f3n de c-myc.  la diferenciaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas de neuroblastoma de rat\u00f3n n2ab inducida por t3 es precedida de una fuerte inhibici\u00f3n de los niveles de c-myc. el an\u00e1lisis molecular del gen murino c-myc ha revelado la presencia de un elemento de uni\u00f3n del receptor de ormona tiroidea.  la t3 tambi\u00e9n induce los niveles de p27, un inhibidor de las quinasas dependientes de ciclinas, por mecanismos tanto transcripciones como postraduccionales. Estos niveles elevados de p27 dan lugar a un significativo incremento de los niveles de p27 asociada a con la cdk2, y a la inhibici\u00f3n de la actividad quinasa de los complejos cdk\/ciclina. Como consecuencia de esta inhibici\u00f3n, as\u00ed como de una fuerte disminuci\u00f3n de los niveles de la ciclina d1, las prote\u00ednas de la familia de prb est\u00e1n
