Frago Fernandez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La ceramida, producto de la hidr\u00f3lisis de la esfingomielina, act\u00faa como un segundo mensajero que afecta no s\u00f3lo al crecimiento celular sino tambi\u00e9n  a la apoptosis.  el desarrollo embrionario implica un balance de los mecanismos que regulan la divisi\u00f3n la diferenciaci\u00f3n y la muerte celular. En la ves\u00edcula \u00f3tica el factor de crecimiento neural estimula la hidr\u00f3lisis de esfingomielina liberando ceramida. Tanto el factor de crecimiento neural como la ceramida inducen resupuestas apopt\u00f3ticas. Esta apoptosis es suprimida por el factor de crecimiento tipo insulina-1, un fuerte inductor del crecimiento y de la morfog\u00e9nesis de la ves\u00edcula \u00f3tica, sin embargo, la ceramida-1-fosfato protege de la apoptosis producida en ausencia de suero pero no la inducida por ceramida o el factor de crecimiento neural.
