Los cap\u00edtulos 1 y 2 de esta memoria de tesis contienen una adecuada introducci\u00f3n al problema y a las t\u00e9cnicas te\u00f3ricas empleadas. en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se estudia el problema de los gases de excitones interactuantes, haciendo \u00e9nfasis en el grado de libertad de spin. Los resultados te\u00f3ricos se comparan con resultados experimentales, obteni\u00e9ndose un buen acuerdo. En el cap\u00edtulo 4 se estudian las propiedades de un eventual condensado de bose de excitones. Se predice que la luz espontaneamente emitida por dicho sistema ser\u00eda coherente. en el cap\u00edtulo 5 se estudian las propiedades del pozo cu\u00e1ntico semiconductor inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de ser excitado por uno o varios pulsos laser, cuando la funci\u00f3n de onda del semiconductor est\u00e1 determinada completamente por el laser.
