Luisa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El gen tk-hsv1 es uno de los genes suicidas m\u00e1s utilizados en ensayos de terapia g\u00e9nica. En este trabajo se muestran los resultados de la utilizaci\u00f3n de este gen suicida en el tratamiento de tumores cerebrales (glioblastomas) inoculados en ratas wistar. Se analizan las dosis m\u00e1s efectivas in vivo de antiherp\u00e9ticos como el ganciclovir y el bromoginildesoxiuridina, as\u00ed como distintas v\u00edas de inoculaci\u00f3n de los mismos. posteriormente se muestra un sistema de obtenci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas productoras de retrovirus de alto t\u00edtulo, sistema avet, cuya aplicaci\u00f3n puede aumentar in vivo el acceso de retrovirus portadores de genes suicidas a las c\u00e9lulas tumorales.  por \u00faltimo se desarroll\u00f3 un nuevo sistema suicida alternativo a los ya probados, basado en el gen de origen vegetal, linamarasa, de la planta cassava. Este enzima codifica por una beta-glucosidas que hidroliza un sustrato inocuo, linamarina a glucosa, acetona y cianuro. La novedad del sistema radica, por una parte, en la utilizaci\u00f3n de un gen de plantas y, por otra, en la producci\u00f3n del cianuro por parte de las c\u00e9lulas neopl\u00e1sicas que han sido infectadas por el retrovirus.
