Dolores Riera Colom <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se estudia el comportamiento mec\u00e1nico de compactos obtenidos con tres tipos de polvos base hierro. A partir de ensayos de compresi\u00f3n uniaxial, con ciclos de carga y descarga, se analizan los mecanismos de deformaci\u00f3n y densificaci\u00f3n.  durante la compresi\u00f3n de un compacto met\u00e1lico, se desarrollan tres regiones de comportamiento gobernadas por mecanismos distintos. Al inicio del ensayo, con bajas cargas, fen\u00f3menos de fricci\u00f3n interna causan una deformaci\u00f3n permanente en el agregado. Posteriormente, la tensi\u00f3n crece rapidamente con la deformaci\u00f3n, mostrando un comportamiento con una fuerte componente el\u00e1stica. Para un cierto nivel de tensi\u00f3n, que depende de densidad inicial el agregado comienza a dilatar. Este soporta todav\u00eda tensiones mayores antes de iniciarse el fallo propiamente dicho. La relaci\u00f3n entre la tensi\u00f3n y las deformaciones axial y radial, responde matem\u00e1ticamente a una ley sigmoidal.  el comportamiento el\u00e1stico es no lineal. Se ha encontrado una ley potencial y se propone un modelo basado en el contacto entre dos part\u00edculas que predice un exponente de 1.5. Se estudia la relaci\u00f3n de poisson el\u00e1stica tangencial. Este var\u00eda con la tensi\u00f3n aplicada hasta un valor estable muy inferior al del material totalmente denso. Adem\u00e1s disminuye al aumentar la densidad inicial del compacto.
