en el empleo de modelos como herramienta de predicci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis en estudios hidrogeol\u00f3gicos, desde el punto de vista del drenaje minero.  en primer lugar se desarrollan los conceptos b\u00e1sicos y parametros que afectan al movimiento subterraneo del agua en un acuifero, as\u00ed como el proceso de modelizaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s recomendado, basandose en el empleo de dos herramientas ampliamente conocidas: modflow, visual-modflow; haciendo hincapi\u00e9 en la modelizaci\u00f3n conceptual, convergencia y calibraci\u00f3n.  con el fin de mejorar el entendimiento sobre la modelizaci\u00f3n hidrogeologica, se incluyen cinco casos practicos reales, ampliamente documentados y analizados, ilustrando un amplio espectro de matices.  por \u00faltimo se presenta un programa desarrollado por el autor, que permite mejorar las posibilidades de modelizaci\u00f3n, transmisi\u00f3n de modelos, almacenamiento de datos y calibraci\u00f3n, destacando en las conclusiones de la
