Cualquier esfuerzo que se haga en entender y modelar la turbulencia es por lo tanto un reto para el investigador.  el trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n que presenta d. Rafael g\u00f3mez blanco aborda la aplicaci\u00f3n de un esquema de eliminaci\u00f3n de modos a las ecuaciones de navier stokes y la ecuaci\u00f3n de bugers. Se analiza en particular la capacidad del modelo para reproducir el transitorio, subrango inercial, isotrop\u00eda local, intermitencia de peque\u00f1a escala, sensibilidad a la pendiente logar\u00edtmica del espectro de energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica, etc.  por los resultados y su novedad, que se obtienen en la tesis, as\u00ed como por las t\u00e9cnicas utilizadas y la calidad del trabajo
