El objetivo es disponer de una tecnolog\u00eda de red que permita que nuevos servicios de red sean desarrollados e instalados r\u00e1pidamente sin modificar los nodos de la red. Un servicio de red que se puede beneficiar de esta tecnolog\u00eda es la transmisi\u00f3n de datos en multipunto con diferentes grados de fiabilidad. esta tesis realiza propuestas originales conducentes a solucionar parte de las limitaciones actuales en el \u00e1mbito de redes activas y multipunto fiable con control de congesti\u00f3n. En primer lugar, se especificar\u00e1 un servicio gen\u00e9rico de multipunto fiable que proporcione diferentes clases de sesiones y grados de fiabilidad. partiendo de la definici\u00f3n del servicio gen\u00e9rico especificado, se dise\u00f1ar\u00e1 un protocolo de comunicaciones sobre la tecnolog\u00eda de redes activas que proporcione dicho servicio. El protocolo dise\u00f1ado estar\u00e1 dotado de un mecanismo de control de congesti\u00f3n para que la fuente ajuste din\u00e1micamente el tr\u00e1fico inyectado a las condiciones de carga de la red. En esta tesis se pretende tambi\u00e9n profundizar en el estudio y an\u00e1lisis de la tecnolog\u00eda de redes activas, experimentando con dicha tecnolog\u00eda para proporcionar una realimentaci\u00f3n a sus dise\u00f1adores. como aportaci\u00f3n adicional de este trabajo, se validar\u00e1n los objetivos anteriores mediante una implementaci\u00f3n piloto de las entidades de
