tesis doctoral aborda el problema de la reconstrucci\u00f3n de escenas tridimensionales a partir de informaci\u00f3n estereosc\u00f3pica binocular, centr\u00e1ndose, y ofreciendo importantes aportaciones, en la resoluci\u00f3n del problema de la correspondencia.  tras abordar el tema de la aplicaci\u00f3n de la restricci\u00f3n epipolar y repasar un amplio conjunto de t\u00e9cnicas de correspondencia, se afronta este problema desde un punto de vista estad\u00edstico riguroso apoyado en los conceptos de campos de markov y cadenas de markov. todo esto conduce a la distinci\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n, en base a la teor\u00eda bayesiana y a su descripci\u00f3n estad\u00edstica, de dos diferentes fuentes de informaci\u00f3n consideradas a priori y a posteriori. este planteamiento aporta una nueva metodolog\u00eda para la resoluci\u00f3n del problema de la correspondencia que conduce a notables descripciones estad\u00edsticas y a la definici\u00f3n de nuevas e importantes
