Fue posible estimar los d\u00edas necesarios para germinar (dgp), midiendo la intensidad de corriente el\u00e9ctrica que presentan los lixiviados de dichas semillas a las 24 h de inhibici\u00f3n (ice24). A partir de un lote sin valor comercial, se estimaron los dpg a partir de la ice24, en funci\u00f3n del calibre de las semillas. En aquenios termodurmientes de lechuga (lactuca sativa l.), tanto el nitrato pot\u00e1sico o polietilenglicol, as\u00ed como la adici\u00f3n de n-6-bencilaminopurina (bap, 0.1-5 mg.1-1), resultaron efectivos para superar los problemas de dormici\u00f3n. Los efectos del osmoacondicionamiento en aquenios de lechuga, a los 30 d\u00edas de almacenamiento a -10 grados c, no solo se mantuvieron, sino que aumentaron el porcentaje de germinaci\u00f3n, aunque no de forma significativa.
