Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta tesis doctoral se ha desarrollado un procedimiento para el an\u00e1lisis de secuencias basado en los algoritmos gen\u00e9ticos. en concreto se han dise\u00f1ado dos algoritmos gen\u00e9ticos, uno para la comparaci\u00f3n de dos secuencias de \u00e1cidos nucleicos (adn\/arn) o de amino\u00e1cidos, y otro para la comparaci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples secuencias.  despu\u00e9s de considerar las nociones de la comparaci\u00f3n de secuencias en general y su aplicaci\u00f3n a la biolog\u00eda en particular, se presentan los algoritmos gen\u00e9ticos como la herramienta utilizada en este trabajo haciendo especial hincapi\u00e9 en sus caracter\u00edsticas y sus fundamentos matem\u00e1ticos.  a continuaci\u00f3n se describen los algoritmos gen\u00e9ticos desarrollados partiendo del algoritmo b\u00e1sico.  se concluye, tras una comparaci\u00f3n de estos algoritmos con otros procedimientos, que son muy eficientes, principalmente cuando se aplican a la comparaci\u00f3n m\u00faltiple de secuencias, y presentan unas caracter\u00edsticas, como la robustez, la capacidad de generalizaci\u00f3n y la facilidad para ser procesados en arquitecturas paralelas, que los hacen id\u00f3neos para esta aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Algoritmos geneticos: aplicacion al analisis de secuencias en biolog\u00eda molecular.<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Algoritmos geneticos: aplicacion al analisis de secuencias en biolog\u00eda molecular. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Morato Izquierdo M.
