Sus dos tripsinas mayoritarias (tsni y tsnii) poseen pesos moleculares de 27 y 24kda y caracter\u00edsticas bioqu\u00edmicas similares a las de otras tripsinas digestivas de lepidopteros purificadas. Su expresi\u00f3n var\u00eda a lo largo del desarrollo larvario, siendo predominante tsni en los primeros estadios y tsnii en los mas avanzados. La ingesti\u00f3n de inhibidores a\u00f1adidos a la dieta de cria de esta especie, a10,2%, tiene efectos significativos sobre el desarrollo y fisiolog\u00eda digestiva de esta especie. en el escarabajo de la patata l. Decemlineata, se han detectado actividades de tipo quimotripsina, carboxipeptidasa y leucin aminopeptidasa. Todas las actividades endoproteol\u00edticas se encontraron principalmente en el lumen, mientras que las exoproteasas se localizaron en los tejidos. Las actividades proteol\u00edticas de \u00e9sta especie se encuentran adaptadas a los inhibidores de proteasas que la patata induce en respuesta a su da\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
