<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Uno de los grandes retos en el \u00e1rea de la ingenier\u00eda de telecomunicaci\u00f3n es la necesidad de cubrir las grandes existencias de ancho de banda de informaci\u00f3n transmitidas a los usuarios.  esto, es lo que ha motivado la realizaci\u00f3n de esta tesis, cuyo objetivo es:  definir y especificar formalmente (lotos) un control de flujo de datos aplicado a los niveles bajos del prm de la b-isdn (atm).  con ello se ha conseguido definir el comportamiento de los niveles atm (aal, atm y phy) con respecto al flujo de datos a su trav\u00e9s.  los resultados son:  a) disponer de una especificaci\u00f3n formal lotos del protocolo atm.  b) definir opciones de comportamiento que optimizan las caracter\u00edsticasde respuesta temporal.  c) se ha propuesto una estructura de implementaci\u00f3n de este sistema y evaluado su respuesta.  d) se han dado transformaciones lotos susceptible de integraci\u00f3n en herramientas co-design, para su an\u00e1lisis y\/o implementaci\u00f3n seg\u00fan la tecnolog\u00eda a emplear.  e) proponer un m\u00e9todo para una mejora generalizadas en la implementaci\u00f3n en subsistemas de alta velocidad que act\u00faa de interface con el medio de transporte. la mejora se basa en una descomposici\u00f3n del flujo de datos en subflujos, con lo que se lograr\u00e1 un mayor tratamiento en
