Se realiz\u00f3 an\u00e1lisis morfom\u00e9trico por ordenador. Los resultados se compararon con los procedentes del lv de ratas intactas. resultados: se observ\u00f3 una reducci\u00f3n del 36,6% del peso del lv denervado. Existi\u00f3 una reducci\u00f3n significativa del \u00e1rea del compartimento epitelial. No se encontr\u00f3 diferencia en el patr\u00f3n vascular. El estudio con me revel\u00f3 una menor altura de la c\u00e9lula epitelial, de su \u00e1rea, del desarrollo del aparato de golgi y del ret\u00edculo endopl\u00e1smico, y un menor n\u00famero de gr\u00e1nulos de secreci\u00f3n y de microvilli apicales. En las c\u00e9lulas de m\u00fasculo liso, s\u00f3lo se apreci\u00f3 un aumento del \u00e1rea de ac\u00famulos ribos\u00f3micos tras la denervaci\u00f3n.  conclusiones: este estudio ha demostrado una atrofia del lv denervado a expensas del componente epitelial. Los datos ultraestructurales sugieren una disminuci\u00f3n global de la actividad secretora epitelial.
