Existen tres tipos de estructuras fibrilares que forman el citoesqueleto: los filamentos de sistemas contractiles, los microtubulos y los filamentos intermedios. La actina se localiza en el citoplasma de las celulas de sertoli, cambiando su distribucion a medida que avanza l espermatogenesis.  todas las celulas germinales poseen actina en su citoplasma, a excepcion de los espermatozoides. Las celulas de los conductos eferentes y del intersticio testicular tambien poseen actina. La tubulina esta presente en los flagelos de espermatidas y espermatozoides. Todas las celulas intersticiales reaccionan positivamente para vimentina, siendo su presencia muy abundante en las celulas de los conductos eferentes.
