Las apor\u00edas a las que conducen estos planteamientos sirven como punto de comparaci\u00f3n para entender la aportaci\u00f3n de santo tom\u00e1s de aquino para justificar por qu\u00e9 ser valeroso. La noci\u00f3n de amistad aristot\u00e9lica y la trascendencia del hombre hacia dios son claves para dar cuenta del planteamiento del aquinate.  desde esta consideraci\u00f3n se plantea c\u00f3mo se puede entender al ser humano y el sentido de la \u00abvida buena\u00bb si no se encuentra una postura que permita entender el sentido del dolor y de la muerte, y que haga al hombre capaz de resolver
