En este sentido el trabajo estudia la posible aplicaci\u00f3n de estructuras de ferrita acicular en aceros microaleados de contenido medio en carbono en base a los buenos resultados que presenta esta microestructura en soldadura. Los diversos tratamientos t\u00e9rmicos realizados permitieron conocer distintos aspectos de la formaci\u00f3n de la ferrita acicular como la naturaleza de las inclusiones responsables de la nucleaci\u00f3n intragranular de la ferrita, el mecanismo de actuaci\u00f3n de estas inclusiones, o las causas que determinan el desarrollo de cada una de las variantes de ferrita acicular observadas.  asimismo, tambi\u00e9n se determinaron las propiedades mec\u00e1nicas de las distintas microestructuras de ferrita acicular obtenidas tanto con enfriamientos continuos como con tratamientos
