En la introducci\u00f3n damos raz\u00f3n del contexto hist\u00f3rico, de las fuentes usadas por el damasceno en la compilaci\u00f3n de la ef, y explicamos algunos t\u00e9rminos seg\u00fan los usos que nuestro doctor les da.  para explicar la unidad de dios, el damasceno emplea tanto argumentos filos\u00f3ficos como teol\u00f3gicos. En el cap\u00edtulo primero exponemos aqu\u00e9llos, y en el tercero, \u00e9stos \u00faltimos. En el cap\u00edtulo segundo exploramos el concepto de \u00abperichoresis\u00bb, que nosotros traducimos por \u00abcompenetraci\u00f3n\u00bb. Este concepto es usado por el damasceno para describir la unidad sin confusi\u00f3n e indivisible que se da entre las tres personas del dios cristiano. El concepto de \u00abcompenetraci\u00f3n\u00bb trinitaria relaciona los argumentos filos\u00f3ficos y teol\u00f3gicos que nos llevan a la unidad divina. Esta compenetraci\u00f3n implica que las personas divinas est\u00e1n unas en otras de modo rec\u00edproco.
