Concretamente las tres vertientes que estructuran esta tesis se orientan a la disminuci\u00f3n de la carga computacional de modelos probabilistas de explotaci\u00f3n generaci\u00f3n\/red.  dicha carga computacional se incrementa al combinar t\u00e9cnicas de simulaci\u00f3n probabilista para abordar el modelado de las incertidumbres y t\u00e9cnicas de optimizaci\u00f3n para gestionar los recursos de generaci\u00f3n y red.  las vertientes mencionadas son el modelado adecuado del comportamiento del sistema el\u00e9ctrico, el incremento de eficacia en la simulaci\u00f3n probabilista mediante el uso de t\u00e9cnicas de reducci\u00f3n de varianza, y por \u00faltimo la implantaci\u00f3n inform\u00e1tica que ha permitido la distribuci\u00f3n paralelizada de tareas y el uso apropiado de diferentes
