Este gen posee 10 exones y nueve intrones. no se han detectado secuencias especificas para el exon 1 de la isoforma betados del gen humano. tambien se ha determinado la estructura del gen hke4, que se encuentra fisicamente ligado con el gen hrxrb y que consta de 7 exones y 6 intrones. El punto de inicio de la transcripci\u00f3n se ha determinado para ambos genes mediante experimentos de \u00abprimer extensi\u00f3n\u00bb revelando varios puntos posibles de inicio de la transcripci\u00f3n en los dos genes. se discuten las posibles secuencias reguladoras de la expresi\u00f3n de ambos genes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
