Consuelo P\u00e9rez V\u00e1zquez <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La corrosi\u00f3n de las armaduras es uno de los principales factores que determinan la durabilidad de las estructuras de hormig\u00f3n. La determinaci\u00f3n de la velocidad de corrosi\u00f3n de las armaduras en obra es, por lo tanto, una necesidad a la hora de hacer cualquier predicci\u00f3n de la vida \u00fatil de una estructura. Dado que los m\u00e9todos electroqu\u00edmicos permiten obtener informaci\u00f3n cin\u00e9tica en tiempo real, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han desarrollado diversas aplicaciones basadas tanto en t\u00e9cnicas de corriente continua como en el an\u00e1lisis de transitorios. de todas ellas, la m\u00e1s utilizada es la medida de la rp. A pesar del indudable \u00e9xito de la t\u00e9cnica, su fundamento te\u00f3rico es, en este campo, pr\u00e1cticamente nulo. su aplicaci\u00f3n se basa exclusivamente en la correlaci\u00f3n experimental entre datos electroqu\u00edmicos y p\u00e9rdida de masa de la armadura en relaciones emp\u00edricas.  el objetivo central de este trabajo es profundizar en el conocimiento del sistema acero\/hormig\u00f3n con el fin de establecer la base cient\u00edfica necesaria para definir los dominios de aplicabilidad de las diferentes t\u00e9cnicas electroqu\u00edmicas aplicadas al problema de la corrosi\u00f3n de armaduras.  el trabajo desarrollado en esta memoria permite entender los problemas planteados a la hora de aplicar t\u00e9cnicas electroqu\u00edmicas al estudio de la velocidad de corrosi\u00f3n del acero en hormig\u00f3n.
