Para ello, se parte del modelo de las caracter\u00edsticas de las tareas de hackman y oldham (1974, 1980), el cual al integrar las aportaciones de maslow. Herzberg y broom, supone la base te\u00f3rica m\u00e1s relevante, del dise\u00f1o y enriquecimiento de puestos. Dicho modelo explica como las caracter\u00edsticas de las tareas impactan sobre el trabajador, de un modo contingente a sus caracter\u00edsticas personales.  este modelo ha sido evaluado con una muestra de 622 trabajadores (procedentes de 9 organizaciones: 4 privadas y 5 p\u00fablicas), usando an\u00e1lisis factorial confirmatorio y modelos de ecuaciones estructurales para analizar las relaciones causales; y regresi\u00f3n jer\u00e1rquica step-wise para el efecto moderador de las caracteristicas individuales.  como resultados del estudio emp\u00edrico se concluye que: (1) el modelo se muestra v\u00e1lido con ligeras excepciones (se proponen modificaciones); (2) la competencia del trabajador se puede operacionalizar como \u00abautoeficacia\u00bb en t\u00e9rminos de bandura (1986); (3) la interacci\u00f3n entre caracter\u00edsticas individuales mejora la eficacia predictiva del modelo: (4) un modelo simplificado, completo; y (5) el contenido del trabajo con impacto en la motivaci\u00f3n interna, al complementarse con variables extr\u00ednsecas (satisfacci\u00f3n con las relaciones sociales), incrementa su poder diagn\u00f3stico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
