Se parti\u00f3 de la poli (epiclorhidrina) (pech) y el copol\u00edmero poli(epiclorhidrina-co-oxietileno) 1:1 (pech-peo), que fueron modificados con fenolato s\u00f3dico. Primero se determinaron las mejores condiciones de reacci\u00f3n que se utilizaron para la s\u00edntesis de pol\u00edmeros funcionalizados con diferentes fenolatos y naftolatos. Los poli\u00e9teres obtenidos se caracterizaron t\u00e9rmicamente mediante calorimetr\u00eda diferencial de barrido (dsc) y termogravimetr\u00eda (tga) y estructuralmente mediante rmn de 13c. Durante la reacci\u00f3n de sustituci\u00f3n nucle\u00f3fila sobre estos substratos se observaron reacciones paralelas. el estudio de la deshidrocloraci\u00f3n y la degradaci\u00f3n de la cadena
