El estudio tanto in vitro como in vivo, llevado a cabo con esta formulacion se realizo de forma comparativa frente a la forma farmaceutica existente en el mercado. Inicialmente se determino la viabilidad de obtener sistemas nanoparticulares cargados con el farmaco, que presentaron una elevada asociacion entre el principio activo y el transportador con un aumento del efecto farmacologico de la ciclosporina como consecuencia de esta asociacion. Un estudio sistematico del metodo de elaboracion de las nanoparticulas, permitio obtener sistemas de 100 nm con una eficacia maxima de encapsulacion de 130 ug de farmaco por mg de polimero. Una vez caracterizada esta formulacion, se elaboro una formulacion de referencia, constituida por una dispersion de la solucion oleosa comercial (sandimmunr) en leche.
