Sin embargo, el descenso del flujo sanguineo cerebral (fsc) que produce, podria en teoria provocar o agravar lesiones isquemicas. Nuestro objetivo ha sido analizar el efecto de la hv sobre la hemodinamica y el metabolismo cerebral en el tratamiento de la htic, del tce. Se incluyeron 33 pacientes consecuentivos con tce e htic, a los que se les hiperventil\u00f3 durante un periodo de 4 horas. Para el estudio hemodinamico se estimo el fsc a partir de las diferencias arterio yugulares de oxigeno (avdo2). La presenca de isquemia cerebral global y de metabolismo anaerobio se consider\u00f3 basandonos en los resultados de las avdo2 y de las diferencias arterio-yugulares de lactatos (avdl), respectivamente. En los pacientes que tenian la reactividad al co2 conservada la hv fue muy efectiva disminuyendo la pic. Este efecto se debi\u00f3 fundamentalmente al descenso del fsc. La mayoria de los paciente a nivel basal tenian un patron sugestivo de hiperemia (87,9%) y el 12,1% tenian un fsc normal. Seg\u00fan las avdl solo se detecto metabolismo anaerobio incrementado durante la hv prolongada en un paciente del grupo no hiper\u00e9mico. seg\u00fan las avdo2 y las avdl, no se observaron efectos adversos de las hv en los pacientes hiperemicos. No obstante, estos son par\u00e1metros globales que pueden no detectar la presencia de isquemia regional. Sugerimos, que siempre que se utiliza la hv en estos enfermos se monitorice alguna variable hemodinamica como las avdo2 y metabolica como las avdl.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
