Por oxidacion del -pineno se obtiene acido pinonico  a partir del cual se preparan dos tipos de juvenoides que contienen un ciclobutano en su estructura. Los del primer tipo  son esteres que presentan tres dobles enlaces en su estructura  uno de ellos conjugado con el ester  otro separado dos grupos metileno del conjugado y otro terminal. Se han preparado tambien el dicloroderivado los epoxiderivados terminales y el metoxiderivado terminal  estos ultimos son los que presentan mayor actividad de hj. El segundo tipo de juvenoides  son esteres conjugados que presentan dos dobles enlaces conjugados  se obtiene el epoxiderivado terminal. A partir de linalool y a traves de la geranilacetona se obtiene el farnesoato de metilo. Ademas se obtienen el metoxi  dicloro y epoxiderivados  con mayor actividad de hj.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Contribucion a la sintesis de
