Las muestras incluidas en parafina procedentes de biopsias diagnosticas, tejido de la reseccion en bloque despues de la quimioterapia neoadjuvante y muestras de metastasis a distancia, fueron analizadas para detectar las posibles mutaciones puntuales en los genes h, k y n-ras en los codones 12 y 61 por medio de la amplificacion de dna tumoral con la reaccion en cadena de lapolimerasa, slot blot e hibridaciones con sondas especificas de dna.  resultados:  se estudiaron 92 muestras incluidas en parafina. No se observaron mutaciones puntuales en los codones 12 y 61 de los genes estudiados.  conclusiones:  estos hallazgos sugieren que la activacion por mutaciones puntuales en los codones 12 y 61 de los genes h, k, y n-ras no tienen un papel importante en la patogenesis del osteosarcoma en los seres humanos. Debido a que no se han detectado mutaciones en los genes estudiados, no ha sido posible establecer ninguna correlacion con los hallazgos o histologicos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
