El primero trata de la revision de conjunto de los generos vibrio y aeromona.  en el segundo  se consideran los medios y material  asi como las tecnicas utilizadas  y el tercero esta dedicado a transcribir los resultados obtenidos y las conclusiones formuladas. Finaliza con la relacion de la bibliografia consultada. El trabajo se divide en tres periodos correspondiendo los muestreos realizados a una poblacion de 201.621 habitantes  que representan el 90 por 100 del total que disponen de servicio de evaluacion de excretas de las 217 localidades con red de alcantarillado  se han verificado tomas de muestras en 58 (un 50 por 100 aproximadamente)  estando representadas todas las cuencas fluviales de cierta entidad por sus nucleos de poblacion significativos. Se llega a la conclusion de que las especies de los generos vibrio y aeromona  toleran bien la abundante concurrencia bacteriana propia del habitat de donde proceden.
