Se han determinado las densidades de los compuestos caracterizados. El estudio conductimetrico de estos compuestos indica que  en agua  se comportan como electrolitos fuertes estando totalmente disociados. El estudio termico de los compuestos indica que no existen diferencias en la fuerza de union entre las moleculas de dimetilsulfoxido y el cation central. Del estudio magnetico se deduce que los iones lantanidos y el itrio se encuentran en el estado tripositivo. Los espectros de infrarrojo revelan que la coordinacion se efectua a traves del atomo de oxigeno del dmso. Por ultimo  los espectros electronicos confirman que los electrones 4f no intervienen en la formacion del enlace de estos complejos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
