Primero  como se inserta la gracia en el acto mismo de la voluntad? Y segundo:  cual es el estado de la libertad del hombre elevado por la gracia a la dignidad de ser hijo de dios? la elaboracion del tema se estructura en cinco capitulos; de los cuales el primero es de caracter introductorio en cuanto intenta ubicar el problema en el marco especifico de un crecimiento espiritual, propio de la vision sanjuanistica y en el cual los factores determinantes son la gracia y la libertad. Los siguientes capitulos estan dedicados a los protagonistas de este proceso, es decir, al hombre y a la santisima trinidad y a la relacion personal que se establece entre ellos en el amor.
