El primer punto revindica el formalismo kantiano entendiendolo como una meta-etica de los imperativos morales  frente a las acusaciones de vaciedad de contenidos formuladas por los interpretes clasicos. La segunda parte de la tesis contrasta los resultados de este analisis con la teoria de r.M. Hare y se centra en los siguientes temas: (a) el significado de los imperativos morales como actos ilocucionarios; (b) significado descriptivo y significado prescriptivo: el problema de su coexistencia en el lenguaje moral; (c) el razonamiento en moral: su paralelismo y sus diferencias con el razonamiento cientifico; (d) el problema de la libertad concebida como limite de la razon; y
