Dicho autor se\u00f1ala una progresiva centralizacion del poder en manos del emperador  mayor movilidad social  degeneracion de las costumbres y gran confusionismo religioso  debido a la introduccion de cultos extranjeros  a la aparicion y desarrollo del culto imperial y la explotacion de la religion con fines politicos. Suetonio adopta una politica eticista y moralizante y defiende la religion tradicional  como caballero romano que era  muestra una actitud favorable hacia la clase social a que
