Se empieza con la descripcion del modelo de brown para el caso de faltas por apantallamiento insuficiente y a continuacion se desarrolla un modelo analogo para el caso de faltas por contorneo inverso  lo que constituye  en su mayor parte la aportacion original de la tesis.  con este trabajo se dispone de una herramienta de calculo que permite analizar el comportamiento frente a las descargas atmosfericas de una linea ya construidao en fase de proyecto.
