Sin embargo  no se ha solucionado su soldabilidad de forma conveniente pudiendo aparecer roturas fragiles en la uniones soldadas. En esta tesis se estudian las posibles causas de esta rotura y el modo de atenuar el riesgo de su presencia. Para ello se reunio la documentacion existente sobre el tema y se realizaron diversos ensayos mecanicos metalograficos y quimicos sobre chapas soldadas de acero al 9% ni  tanto  sobre el metal base como sobre el metal de aportacion. Como consecuencia de los resultados de los ensayos y de la  teoria de migracion del niquel elaborada a partir de ellos  se recomienda no utilizar estos aceros en depositos importantes  asi como
