Se presentan unos programas de ordenador originales y de una gran eficiencia y generalidad para estudiar  de un modo economicamente optimo  los problemas del regimen transitorio de transmision de calor y de las tensiones termicas en cuerpos con simetria axial. Esta tesis ha sido desarrollada en el centro de calculo de la escuela tecnica superior de ingenieros industriales de san sebastian en colaboracion con la empresa construcciones y auxiliar de ferrocarriles  s.A. (C.A.F.) De beasain conteniendo asi mismo  en el capitulo de aplicaciones de la forma del velo  el estado de desgaste y la posicion de la zapata  sobre las tensiones termicas originadas por el proceso de
