Mediante espedisfotometria se estudian las reaciones de la acetilacetona ditiosemicarbazona con los iones cu(ii)  ni(ii) y co(ii) y con filmes comparativos se estudian las reacciones de ni(ii) y co(ii) con la 1 3-ciclohexanodiona ditiosemicarbazona.
