Se han usado las heptosaminas de configuraciones d-glicero-l-gluco d-glicero-d-ido  y d-glicero-d-galacto  preparadas por sintesis cinanhidrinica y la de compensacion d-glicero-l-mano  preparada por el metodo del nitrometano. La primera y la cuarta heptosaminas reaccionan con dimedona produciendo el mismo compuesto de configuracion d-galacto  mientras que la 2. Y la 3.  llevan respectivamente  a los condensados de configuraciones d-gluco y d-mano. A partir de 1 3-ciclohexanodiona  y las 3 heptosaminas obtenidas por sintesis cianhidrinica  se obtuvieron compuesto analogos a los anteriores  que no llevan grupos metilo en la posicion 6 del
