En la primera se estudian las siete obras gracianas  dedicando especial interes a el criticon. Es la parte ii una reflexion sobre el barroco literario espa\u00f1ol  tras la que se concluye que el barroco es uno con dos variedades: conceptismo y culteranismo  no antagonicos  sino con base conceptista (figuras retoricas): el primero amplifica la semantica el segundo la sintaxis. El conceptismo de gracian se ve en la intensificacion semantica del lenguaje (parte iii):  creacion de palabras motivadas (nivel monematico) presencia de palabras lexematicas y ausencia de las morfematicas (nivel lexical)  estructura paratactica binembre (nivel sintactico) y valor polisemico (nivel semantico).
