Tambien tienen efecto inhibidor sobre la mitogenesis inducida por lps mientras que a determinadas concentraciones estimulan la mitogenesis inducida por con a. Tambien tienen un efecto estimulantes sobre la reaccion mixta de linfocitos  de lo que parece deducirse que tienen un efecto diferecial sobre los linfoatos t y b.
