Vuelto a sevilla en 1859  cano se establece definitivamente aqui  en donde comienza su carrera artistica tras los exitos alcanzados en las dos primeras exposiciones nacionales de 1856 y 1858 m consagrando de este modo la pintura de historia que el inaugura pero no malogra. Punto importante en el presente trabajo de investigacion  es el capitulo dedicado a la labor magistral de cano en sevilla en donde forma una pleyade de pintores  muchos de los cuales solo seran sus alumnos  que no sus discipulos  pero que deben indudablemente al maestro su pureza en el dibujo y la composicion asi como su bien hacerque es la nota comun que distingue a su
