Estos reactivos han sido caracterizados analiticamente. La php se ha aplicado a la determinacion de pd(ii) ycu(i). El procedimiento experimental descrito para la determinacion de cobre se ha utilizado para la determinacion de este cation en diversas muestras. Se ha estudiado los quelatos de tl(iv)  sn (ii)  iu(iii) y ca(ii) con la bshb y comparativamente con la bshp. La reaccion con titanio ha sido aplicada a la deteccion del mismo en muestras artificiales mientras que la de calcio se ha utilizado para la determinacion de este cation en diversos
