En una segunda parte se estudian los cambios producidos por la radiacion x en la luminiscencia y absorcion del caf2=co. La luminiscencia se explica considerando que se forma co + que al atrapar nunca pasa a co2+ excitado que emite. La absorcion se atribuye a un centro complejo formado por un centro r2 adyacente del co2+.
