La tecnica propuesta permite diferenciar un numero indeterminado de fracciones  caracterizables por metodos fisicos  y proporciona para cada fraccion parametros relacionables con la naturaleza del mineral  el tama\u00f1o del cristal y  en determinadas condiciones  con la edad del oxido. El metodo es igualmente aplicable al fraccionamiento de otros metales de interes edafologico o sedimentologico tales como al.
