El metodo de la transformada de fourier permite no solo resolver las complejas ecuaciones diferenciales representativas de un sistema electrico en regimen transitorio  sino tambien al operar en el dominio de la frecuencia  tomar en consideracion los valores exactos de todos los parametros de red implicados en el estudio.
