La mayor parte de constantes alometricas se relacionan fundamentalmente con el grado de polipoidia de las cepas. Se reconocen formas bisexuales diploides y varios tipos de partenogeneticas  diploides tetraploides y otras de caracteristicas intermedias. El numero de huevos o cistes se relaciona a traves de formulas de tipo alometrico con el tama\u00f1o y el grado de ploidia.  esterilidad nutea y distribucion geografica de las distintas formas refuerzan una nueva propuesta de agrupacion taxonomica en el genero. La rutina de cultivar formas californianas se ha de sustituir por la explotacion juiciosa de las multiples posibilidades de las formas espa\u00f1olas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
