El objetivo de la tesis es el estudio de las caracteristicas de la union bilirrubina-albumina  puntos de union  constantes de asociacion y factores que afectan a su afinidad (y  en consecuencia  a los niveles de bilirrubina libre). La bilirrubina libre ha sido estudiada por dos metodos:  enzimatico  y por filtracion en gel de sephadex y valoracion espectrofotometrica. Segun el metodo de scatchard se han hallado dos zonas de union con diferente afinidad  siendo k1\/k2 = 10. Los valores de k1 y k2 de adultos son el 200 v\/v de los de recien nacidos y el 400% de los de prematuros. El riesgo de ictericia nuclear esta favorecido en los primeros dias del nacimiento  segun se deduce de estos resultados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
