Se trata su postura personal ante las problematicas constantes del barroco:  dios  el mundo  el hombre  la vida  la religion y las artes. Se hace hincapie en su importancia como escritor que cultiva las figuras retoricas de manera especial. Se habla de su pertenencia a la fruchtbringende gesellschaft y de la fundacion de la blumenorden  dentro de cuya produccion tradujo la dina de gil polo. Despues de presentar su obra  se analizan los frauenzimmer gesprachspiele  obra de contenido enciclopedico expuesta en forma de dialogos  el trichter (obra didactica sobre la poetica alemana) y el secretrius (manual epistolar).  finalmente se hbla de la presencia de la literatura espa\u00f1ola en la obra de harsdorffer. Hay una amplia representacion de nuestros escritores que abarca desde el s. Xv hasta mediados del s. Xvii. Finalmente se estudia la primera traduccion hecha al aleman del cantico espiritual de san juan de la cruz.
