Los primeros poseen nave unica y presentan dos variantes en la cabecera:  cuadrangular en unos por reminiscencias preromanicas y semicircular en otros; en varias se decora el interior de la capilla con arquerias ciegas. Desde el punto de vista ornamental  presentan un conjunto de relieves de cierto interes  especialmente en las portadas  donde se esculpieron motivos anglonormandos: zig-zag  beak-heads y modillones de lobulos de origen oriental. Los temas iconograficos se localizan en los capiteles y conectan estilisticamente con las escuelas mas proximas de santander  leon  etc; por lo que se puede considerar un capitulo interesante del
